Ton travel to Chipstead FC to face Combined Counties Division One side, Epsom & Ewell - themselves former runners-up of the competition.

Scorer said: "It’s a momentous occasion in the club’s long history and I am immensely proud to have been able to guide us to this historical moment.

"Every player selected to be part of the squad on Saturday should accept it with huge pride - I know there are many players from over the years who would love to be given the opportunity to represent Kennington Football Club in such a prestigious competition.”

Kennington have risen from the Kent County League into senior football under the stewardship of Scorer - winning the Kent County Premier Division in 2017/18 - with his side finishing their maiden SCEFL Division One campaign in third spot.

"I’ve been on a hell of journey with this football club, since joining as first team manager back in June 2013.

“There have been some unforgettable moments and some that I’m very proud of - however Saturday’s FA Vase fixture will certainly take pride of place as we enter new and exciting territory.”

He added: "Saturday’s game isn’t just for the players, it’s for everyone who has been associated with Kennington Football Club for over 100 years.

“Everyone has played their part and hopefully we can all enjoy the occasion and make it one we’ll never forget."
