The Oakley Road side were amongst the most active in the close season, with new boss, Lee Roots strengthening his squad with a number of new recruits since his arrival in the summer, as they go about improving on their sixth place finish in 2018/19.
And so far this term they haven't disappointed, currently sitting second with two wins and two draws from their opening four League fixtures - taking all three points at Croydon and at home to Stansfeld.
Germaine Jeannoel was the Holmesdale hero last weekend, coming off the bench to score the winner with just two minutes remaining in an impressive 2-1 home success over Step 5 side, Sheerwater, of the Combined Counties Premier Division.
The corresponding fixture in October of last year saw the hosts come out on top 3-1, with Gary Lockyer our scorer.
