Quick History: The clubs roots date back to the 1920's as Holmesdale Baptists and only signed members of the church and those that attended bible classes, They originally joined the old Excelsior League before folding in 1923, The club then reformed under the same name in 1956 but dropped the "Baptists" as they was forced to bring in players from other churches.

The Dalers previous ground was Oak's Road in nearby Shirley but they was forced to move as they gained promotion into a league the required the need for floodlights Croydon Council refused to install them so they moved to their current home Oakley Road

Recent meetings: This will be the 12th meeting between the two clubs since the SCEFL's formation, with the TON taking the points in the last meeting with a 1-2 win at Holmesdale back in March.
