The Ton welcome Steve O'Boyle's Phoenixes to Homelands.

Following on from Wednesdays 2v2 draw against Canterbury the Ton welcome high flying Phoenix Sports.

Following on from their relegation from the Isthmian South East last season Phoenix have rebounded well Bring in former Bromley, Cray Valley & Chatham Town Goal keeper Andy Walker on a free transfer as well as former Gillingham, Dartford and Chatham striker Andy Pugh on loan with the latter already scoring 3 in his first 4 games for the club.

Their form in the last 5 league games has been a 1v1 win away at to Rusthall, 2v0 away win at Bearsted, 2v1 at home to Tunbridge Wells, a 3v0 win at home to Deal Town and a 2v1 win away to Punjab United.

Cup form: In the cups Phoenix Sports have had a good run with them still in the FA Vase and yet to play in the SCEFL Challenge due to having been given a Bye for the first round.
starting off with the FA Cup they made it to the 2nd Qualifying round after beating Oxley jets (A,1v3), Tunbridge Wells (A, 0v1), Rusthall (H, 4v1) before succumbing to Sevenoaks Town 1v0 at home.
In the FA Vase like us they are in the 2nd Round where they will play fellow SCEFL SIDE Deal Town at home, their results so far have been, Canterbury City (A,1v2), Bridon Ropes (A, 1v4) and AFC Portchester (A,2v3).
They did not have much luck in the London Senior cup draw as they hosted Local side Charlton Athletics u23 in the first round losing 6v0.
In the Kent senior trophy they overcame D1 side Faversham strike force 4v1 and will play Stansfeld in round 2.
as mentioned earlier they received a bye in the first round of the SCEFL Challenge cup but will play Bridon Ropes in round 2.

Recent meetings: This will be the first time the two clubs will meet since the formation of the SCEFL.
